Member Workshop: Nothing Matters Until Somebody Sells Something

“Nothing Matters Until Somebody Sells Something”:

This is the first in a series of brown bag business training classes to instruct participants in the pillars of running a successful small business and to familiarize them with the free resources that are available to them.  This initial class will focus on:

  • Who is your target market?  Are you sure?  Do you have more than one?
  • How do I engage my target market?  Social media?  Cold calls?  Website?  Direct mail?  TV/radio?
  • What is the relationship between marketing and sales?  Social media “likes” aren’t the same as sales.
  • What is your sales process?  How do you know if it works?
This workshop will be held in the Training Room at the Police Station.  It is a brown bag session, so feel free to bring your lunch.
